'From December 28th to 30th 2009, the XPECT Leadership Program, hosted and run by the iStandAbove Organization (iSA) for Ghanaian students in the Junior Secondary School level of education is an avenue for these promising leaders of tomorrow to spark their leadership, teamwork and creative abilities through an array of activities such as Leadership games, Company Tours, Networking and Presentation skills workshops, and a forum with young Ghanaian entrepreneurs followed by a question and answer session.

During this program, the students will also learn the importance of community service as well as have an opportunity to give back to their community by being involved in the Read Aloud Book Drive.

'Please join the XPECT Leadership participants in providing Books to underprivileged children of Accra, Ghana this New Year’s Eve!

In December 2009, during the XPECT Leadership Program, participants will be working to build and decorate book boxes that will be donated to children at the St. Mary’s Anglican Church of James Town, The Osu Children’s Home, and other reputable youth organizations.
We need help to reach our goal of 2000 books. And you can help. How? Bring a new or used book to iSA Ghana (0243-880-878), Your iSA School Rep, Or drop them off in the bins on the assigned dates below.

December 5th, 12th, & 19th, -
Frankies, Busy Internet, and the Accra Mall. Bins will be placed by the entrance.

The XPECT Leadership Program participants will be building and decorating these boxes on the Wednesday, 30th December 2009.
The presentation will be done during the iStandAbove community service day event on Saturday, 2nd January 2010.

The children receiving the books range in age from 5 -16 years.
